- Get them while they're young, Pork4Kids.
Or get them
with '70s music:
"Set to the upbeat T-Rex ‘70s song ‘I Love To Boogie’, the
two TV commercials feature the ‘Red Meat Vitality Boogie’ at the end of
each ad, with the main characters breaking into their own spontaneous ‘vitality
boogie’ dance.
The first ad, ‘Singing Butchers’, features a group of butchers singing
about the nutritional benefits of red meat while dancing through a busy
shopping area."
They didn't like the ad in New
Zealand: (via adland)
"A television advertisement featuring butchers dancing in the
streets like Hare Krishna followers has been taken off air after complaints
against it were upheld."

- John Darnielle interviews at Glorious
Noise, indiedisco
and VH1:
"VH1: What’s with your Spandau Ballet fetish?
Darnielle: They’re just so great and their lyrics are so puzzling. They
have these songs that are very successful, but the more you listen to them,
the less you understand what they are saying. They seem dedicated to this
proposition of lavish production with soul and emotion and not actually
saying anything. Duran Duran also had extremely meaningless lyrics that
were popular. "Wild boys never chose this way?" What is he talking about?
What in the world is "The Reflex?" Examine "Save a Prayer," and it’s just
a step before utter gibberish."
Plus pictures and movies of the Mountain Goats in Rotterdam.
